How does HeadUp know when my head is down?

Your AirPods have motion sensors. A quick calibration learns how you hold your head when you sit tall and when you look down. When your head stays down past your chosen delay, you hear a soft tone.

Which headphones work?

AirPods (3rd generation and later), AirPods Pro, AirPods Max and recent Beats with head tracking. You need an iPhone, and HeadUp asks for access to Motion & Fitness.

Will it interrupt my music?

Only for a moment. The nudge is a short tone: your music dips under it, then carries on. Pick Chime, Knock, Bubble or Hum and set the volume in Settings.

Is the giraffe really following me?

Yes. During a session your giraffe follows your head: look down and it droops, lift your head and it lifts with you.

Is HeadUp available yet?

Almost. HeadUp is getting ready for the App Store, and the download will appear on this page as soon as it's live.
